Dr. Cai graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, Shanghai, China in 1995. She earned her Master Degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1997, and MD in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine in 2002.

She worked as a chief physician in the Department of Oral Surgery at Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University in China before moving to the United States in 2018. She published more than 50 papers in English Journals and was an author for 7 book chapters.

She attended the Advanced Standing Program and earned her DMD from the Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University in 2021 with high honors. She practices as an associate dentist in general dentistry since graduation. She is a member of the Massachusetts Dental Society(MDS) and ADA.

Dr. Cai is experienced in performing a wide range of dental procedures, including filling, crown, extraction, and denture. She is specialized in oral surgery, with extensive experience in tooth extraction, including complex cases such as third molar extraction. She is also proficient in performing surgical procedures for benign lesions in the oral and maxillofacial areas, GBR procedure, crown lengthening procedure, etc.

When she is not working, Dr. Cai likes to hike, cook, and travel and cultural exploration with her family.
